Sonali Mathur is the global director of data, privacy, and operations on the performance-driven marketing team at General Motors. With decades of experience in data and analytics, Ms. Mathur plays a pivotal role in accelerating GM’s data-driven marketing culture. She leads the foundational platforms and practices that operationalize all marketing at GM. An ardent believer in the ethical use of data, Ms. Mathur actively promotes data privacy and security best practices. She is responsible for all privacy governance and frameworks across the organization, ensuring customer choices are honored through all marketing engagements.
She holds a B.S. in information technology, a master’s in business administration, and a master’s in information technology from Carnegie Mellon University.
