David Matt is the VP, creative and content, and executive creative director for Meredith’s content marketing agency, The Foundry. Mr. Matt leads teams creating innovative digital, video and print solutions for clients as diverse as Ford Motor Company, Bank of America, GEICO, New York Stock Exchange and more. David was previously a founding partner, chief marketing officer and SVP, creative for Zero2Sixty Solutions, a global software company producing mobile supply chain efficiencies for the retail industry, with clients that included Calvin Klein, VF Corporation, Beats and more. Believing that it is important to mentor the next generation of talent, Mr. Matt has taught app design, editorial design and typography at the School of Visual Arts. David has judged the National Magazine Awards, Columbia University’s Eisenstadt Awards, the Chrysler Award for Design Innovation and has received numerous national and international awards for his work. He has lectured on design and typography around the world, and has written about design for several publications, including a monthly column in Folio magazine. A sailor since childhood, David is a member of the New York Yacht Club and sails Virginia, his Bristol sloop, in New York Harbor and beyond.
