Corey Maynard is the vice president of marketing for YETI Coolers, the creator and leader of the premium cooler category with a near-cult following. He oversees YETI’s brand marketing communications, e-commerce, consumer experience, community marketing and product management functions. Mr. Maynard has been in this role since 2013, during which time his team has launched two breakthrough new product lines, revamped YETI’s digital marketing strategy and released the award-winning “Built for the Wild” advertising campaign. Prior to YETI, he guided the marketing team at Gerber Legendary Blades. In his tenure there, he led an award-winning brand refresh, launched the Bear Grylls Survival Collection, executed a highly successful brand integration in AMC’s The Walking Dead and oversaw the creation of the “Hello, Trouble” marketing campaign. Corey earned his M.B.A. from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist School of Business and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lewis & Clark College.
