Julia Riehm McGuffey is corporate counsel at Papa John’s International, Inc. In her role there, Ms. McGuffey assists both the marketing and information systems departments; key responsibilities include legal review of all facets of advertising, contract drafting and negotiations, and management of Papa John’s international trademark portfolio. Before Papa John’s, she was an associate with the largest intellectual property firm in Kentucky, focusing on trademark and copyright law. Julia is particularly proud of winning Best Note in law school at the University of Louisville for her note that married her passion for trademarks with her love of boy bands.
