Catherine Mennenga’s practice has concentrated on trademark and advertising law and she has been a speaker on the Madrid Protocol, environmental advertising, trademark ethics, and branding issues. She is currently the vice chair for the ANA Legal Affairs Committee and chair of the Madrid Protocol Office Practices subcommittee for the International Trademark Association (INTA). She is a past board member and chair of the Famous and Well Known Marks Committee for INTA and past chair of the U.S. Trademark Office Practice Committee for Intellectual Property Owners Association. Prior to joining GE in 2002, she was associated with Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York. Ms. Mennenga earned a B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in art history, and received her J.D., cum laude, from the New York University School of Law.
