As chief strategy officer, U.S., Tom Morton helps brands and businesses thrive in the connected world. He leads the strategy department with co-chief strategy officer, U.S., Jess Greenwood, ensuring that the best insights go into the development of everything from engaging campaigns to groundbreaking products and digital platforms. Mr. Morton joined R/GA in 2016 as SVP of strategy, leading the practice for New York. He now jointly leads the discipline across all U.S. offices and helms the “Strat Pack,” a collective of over 100 marketing scientists, strategists and connections planners who work together to uncover insights and craft fully integrated creative solutions for brands. Prior to R/GA, Tom was director of strategy at Co:Collective and chief strategy officer at Havas Worldwide. Mr. Morton has advised brands as diverse as Samsung, Verizon, ESPN, PepsiCo, Virgin Mobile, PlayStation and the Museum of Modern Art. He has earned gold Effie Awards and IPA Effectiveness Awards, and served as a judge for both awards, as well as a jury chair for the 4A’s Jay Chiat strategy awards. Mr. Morton sits on the advisory board of Wharton Business School’s Future of Advertising Program.
