Matt Naeger, executive vice president, digital strategy at Merkle, has more than 15 years of experience in direct marketing and advertising industries and 10-plus years of experience directing client search engine marketing strategies for IMPAQT, a Merkle company. He is responsible for developing and evangelizing Merkle’s vision of digital; he focuses on digital innovation to influence customer decision making. As a founding member of IMPAQT's management team, Mr. Naeger has been instrumental in establishing IMPAQT as a leader in the search space. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, and he writes on the evolution of the search industry and its future in marketing. Mr. Naeger has been quoted in numerous publications, including Search Engine Watch, The Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, The New York Times, The San Jose Mercury News, Advertising Age, and DM News. He has served as IMPAQT's vice president of operations and general counsel. Prior to joining IMPAQT, Mr. Naeger was the director of IT solutions for a direct marketing and advertising agency. He has a B.S. in business and political science from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law.
