Alisa Norris serves as an Independent Director of the board of directors of Standard Motor Products (NYSE:SMP), where she also serves as a member of the board’s Audit Committee, Management Development and Compensation Committee, Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and Strategic Planning Committee. She is an executive with a track record driving transformation and complex change in the areas of strategy, marketing, and people operations. Her recent work includes driving company growth through digital transformation, leveraging the intersection between marketing, technology, and data analytics. Alisa is a results-oriented leader with extensive experience driving growth strategies across public, private, and nonprofit organizations. In addition to her board role at Standard Motor Products, Alisa is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), the world’s leading organization funding research of type 1 diabetes. Here, she has improved top line growth to its highest levels in more than 10 years by transforming the organization’s marketing and communications functions through new digital experiences and advocacy efforts. She has pioneered new advocacy efforts centered on broad-reaching, grass roots campaigns that are improving patient outcomes in the areas of access, affordability and choice of device and drug therapies.
