Joanna O’Connell is a VP and principal analyst at Forrester, where she leads advertising technology coverage exploring the digital advertising ecosystem with a focus on helping marketers make the right decisions to power customer-obsessed marketing. Specifically, she covers demand-side platforms (DSPs), ad servers, and dynamic creative optimization (DCO).
Previously at Forrester, Ms. O’Connell served interactive marketers and covered adtech and programmatic advertising as a principal analyst. She also led trade publication AdExchanger and served as CMO of MediaMath. Ms. O’Connell began her digital marketing experience at Avenue A as a media planner and buyer before launching Razorfish’s agency trading desk, ATOM Systems.
Ms. O’Connell holds a B.A. in psychology from Vassar College.
