Ukonwa Ojo is a proven business leader and passionate marketer with over 20 years of experience. She serves as a chief marketing officer for consumer beauty at Coty Inc., managing over $2 billion in sales, with U.S. P&L responsibility for CoverGirl, Rimmel, Sally Hansen, Clairol and lifestyle scenting/fragrances, and global responsibility for CoverGirl and Sally Hansen. Ms. Ojo has been recognized by: 2017’s “Adweek 50,” the annual celebration of the most indispensable executives across marketing, media and technology; the 2017 “Creativity 50,” Ad Age’s annual roundup of influential creative figures; Marketing Magazine’s “Power 100” list of the most influential, inspiring and innovative marketers; and Black Enterprise’s list of the “300 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America” and the “Top Women in Advertising & Marketing.” Ukonwa was also named to Business Insider’s list of “The 25 Most Innovative CMOs in the World in 2018.” Throughout her career, Ms. Ojo’s leadership has resulted in revenue, market share, brand equity growth and creative award recognition for iconic brands including CoverGirl, Durex, French’s, Cheerios, Knorr, Betty Crocker and Cascadian Farm Organic. Ukonwa holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina.
