Gary P. Osifchin is a passionate brand builder recognized for reinventing the equity of old brands and building equity for new ones. He possesses expertise in brand strategy, marketing communications, product development and business management. In his current role, Mr. Osifchin leads creative agency relations and brand strategy at Mondelēz International. Previously, Gary led brand equity for global brands including Oreo, Milka and Cadbury, as well as the world’s largest gum brand, Trident, and the company’s newest brand, belVita Breakfast. In past roles, Mr. Osifchin championed the award-winning multicultural Honey Maid campaign “This is Wholesome,” which broke in March 2014 and raised the bar for numerous other consumer brands to recognize and celebrate the changing American family. His Honey Maid work won multiple awards, including three Cannes Lions, three Effies and an ANA Multicultural Award. Gary was named a Brand Genius by Adweek in 2015. His work on belVita has won a Nielsen Breakthrough Innovation award and an Effie for the “Morning Win” campaign, which had a highly successful Hispanic component. Osifchin has a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. He and his partner, Wesley, live in Manhattan and Hudson, New York.
