Dick Porter was appointed executive vice president and president of media sales in 2011. He is responsible for overseeing and accelerating Meredith’s advertising sales revenue growth across media platforms. Mr. Porter brings an extensive background in aggressive sales leadership of national brands. He has served as CEO for the Publishing Group of America; executive vice president, interactive advertising for AOL; and senior vice president at Advertising.com, where he helped build top-level digital advertising sales teams and operations. His background also includes tenure as publisher of Prevention, Reader’s Digest, and TV Guide. He is a member of MIN’s Sales Executive Hall of Fame.
