Chuck Pruitt
Co-Managing Director / ABD Direct

Chuck Pruitt considers himself fortunate to be part of a company that doesn’t just work for anyone with a checkbook. Mr. Pruitt likes the fact that ABD Direct seeks out fundraising partnerships with organizations and campaigns that share the ethics and values of the company’s 40-plus-year history; client partners who are working every day to change the world by protecting civil and human rights, reducing gun violence, preserving the U.S.-Israel relationship, combating climate change and helping the most vulnerable among us.

Chuck considers his work in the 2008 and 2012 Obama for America campaigns to be the highlight of his professional career, fulfilling a dream to help elect and re-elect the most transformative political figure in his lifetime and helping to raise more money through direct mail than any campaign in American political history.

Mr. Pruitt received his undergraduate degree from Macalester College, and his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in political science from Harvard University. Prior to joining ABD Direct, he taught at St. Olaf College. Chuck currently is on the board of visitors of the La Follette School of Public Policy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and he also serves on a number of local nonprofit organizations’ boards.
