Kenie Richards works for teachers and students via the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Ms. Richards designed, built and is currently managing the Teacher2Teacher (T2T) initiative, a thriving digital ecosystem engaging a full half of the U.S. teaching force (1.5 million members) in the sharing of best practices, high-quality resources and motivation for tough days in the classroom. More recently, T2T has established a suite of virtual learning structures to engage teachers and school leaders in meaningful feedback and codesign engagements that seek to inform and optimize the work of the foundation and its partners. Previously, Kenie was the director of content marketing at Teach for America (TFA). Ms. Richards led content and community engagement strategies, while also supporting TFA’s brand marketing team in the development of strategic campaigns and initiatives. Prior to this role, Kenie spent nearly eight years as a video producer, specializing in documentary and creative video production.
