With more than 20 years of experience, Sedlak has a proven track record in business development. Keith was most recently EVP, GM at Manifest, responsible for the Manifest Media Ventures division, which produces revenue generating owned media platforms for clients such as WebMD, CBS, CNET, Ritz Carlton and many more. Prior to this role Keith was the CMO of McMurry/TMG where he played an instrumental role in bringing together TMG and McMurry, which resulted in one of the largest US-based independent content marketing agencies. As CMO, he led business development from 2013-2015, successfully growing the business by bringing in leading brands across a variety of industries such as such as AT&T, Abbott, Staples, Bed, Bath and Beyond and many more.
Prior to McMurry/TMG, Keith was Chief Marketing Officer at Meredith Xcelerated Marketing, a part of Meredith Corporation. and responsible for business development and marketing across the agency. He joined Meredith in 2003 as Managing Director and responsible for business development, marketing and advertising sales across a variety of industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods.
Before starting his 15-year career at Meredith, Sedlak spent several years in advertising sales for the Wall Street Journal. In addition to his extensive traditional media sales experience, he also spent over four years managing digital media sales teams for AltaVista and then Terra Lycos.
Keith is the Immediate Past Chair and President of the Custom Content Council. Additionally, he sat on the DMA’s iDirect Committee and is an occasional speaker at industry events. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Ramapo State College.
