As SVP, Chief Marketing Officer at UL, Kathy works with brands worldwide to empower trust in their commitments to safety, security and sustainability. Kathy has helped to define UL’s brand strategy and its role in delivering world-class customer experience and business performance. Kathy is passionate about her team, UL’s business resource groups and the UL brand.
Spurred by her leadership, the company has evolved significantly while expanding its services for companies and society. Kathy is focused on the full continuum of marketing strategy from brand to demand. As the lead for UL's Corporate Sustainability strategy, Kathy is refining UL's efforts in both social sustainability and environmental sustainability in support of business performance and brand preference.
Prior to UL, Kathy served as Vice President of Global Marketing for Navistar and spent 15 years with BP including brand management and strategic account management roles. She holds a Master of Marketing from Loyola University, and a Bachelors in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Kathy is a proud Board Member of the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and a member of The Chicago Network. Kathy lives in the Chicago area with her husband and their two college-age sons.
