Dwight Sholes has over 20 years' experience in email marketing. He currently works as an independent consultant with a focus on the travel industry. His consulting practice typically includes longer-term engagements to develop email and digital marketing strategies, manage complex marketing projects, and create the organizations necessary for success.
In prior roles, Sholes worked as an entrepreneur as well as on the brand side. In 2001, he founded Quotient Marketing, an email services provider that helped leading brands like Krispy Kreme, Liberty Travel, and Silversea Cruises create and sustain highly successful email campaigns. Prior to its successful sale to Fishbowl in 2008, the company was an early pioneer of technologies that are now considered best practices.
Sholes has also held positions at Return Path and American Express Vacations. At Return Path, he served as a senior consultant and subject matter expert for the company’s travel clients, which included some of the biggest brands in the industry. At American Express Vacations, he was responsible for developing new revenue streams across all digital channels and driving sales of ancillary products and services.
Sholes has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.I.A. in International Business from Columbia University.
