Gordon V. Smith is Distinguished Professor of Intellectual Property Management at the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He is also Chairman Emeritus of AUS, Inc., an international consulting and market research firm.
He has written extensively in professional periodicals and is the author and co-author of several books including Trademark Valuation and Intellectual Property: Valuation, Exploitation, and Infringement Damages, that are considered authoritative sources worldwide. Mr. Smith has testified before numerous commissions, state and federal courts, U.S. Tax Court and arbitration panels.
Mr. Smith has often lectured for the IP Academy Singapore and has taught credit courses on IP Valuation at the National University of Singapore and for professional organizations throughout Europe and Asia. He is a frequent lecturer and author for the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
Mr. Smith earned an AB degree from Harvard University in 1959, and later studied accounting and economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
