Marissa Solis has over 20 years of marketing management, communications, and sales experience in both the U.S. and Latin American markets. In her current role, Ms. Solis leads a cross-functional business unit responsible for doubling PepsiCo’s Beverages North America business with the U.S. Hispanic consumer. She is currently the executive sponsor for PepsiCo’s Adelante Employee Resource Group and an advisor to the PepsiCo Women of Color Alliance.
Before moving into her current position, Ms. Solis led numerous brand initiatives for Frito Lay North America, and also held roles in shopper marketing for key PepsiCo customers. She began her career in brand management at Procter & Gamble Latin America in San Juan, P.R., and spent a few years at Deloitte Consulting as a management consultant leading change initiatives and communication consulting for public sector clients. Ms. Solis also spent time as a political consultant, contributing to the communication strategies of key campaigns in Texas and Mexico.
Ms. Solis is on the Board of Directors for Volunteer Now, a Dallas Non-Profit that serves as the hub of volunteerism in North Texas, and is a graduate of Georgetown University, with a B.S. in International Economics, and the University of Texas at Austin, with an M.B.A. and M.A. in Public Policy.
