Michael Sprague is the central point of contact for all sales, marketing, service, and product planning functions for Kia Motors America. From 2009–14, Mr. Sprague oversaw over 20 new vehicle launches — more than any other automaker during that span. During his tenure, Kia introduced the world to a pack of music-loving hamsters which have been honored as some of the most effective and widely viewed advertisements in the world. He also has managed all six of the brand’s influential advertising campaigns in and around the Super Bowl. Previously, Mr. Sprague served in a number of key positions at Ford Motor Co. in the U.S. and Mazda Motor Corp. in Japan. Prior to entering the automotive industry, he was a managing director for Arthur Andersen & Co., where he established its first office in Romania.
