Ted Suzuki is the lead marketing and advertising attorney for AT&T’s Entertainment & Internet Services division. Prior to DIRECTV’s merger with AT&T, he was Deputy General Counsel of DIRECTV, supporting Sales, Marketing and Advertising functions. He negotiated deals involving sales, marketing and advertising matters, including deals for DIRECTV’s ads featuring celebrities and athletes like Hannah Davis, Rob Lowe, Beyoncé Knowles, Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Peyton and Eli Manning. Suzuki previously worked at The Upper Deck Company and Upper Deck Authenticated, sports trading cards and memorabilia company. At Upper Deck, he negotiated and drafted various agreements and advised company in matters related to leagues, PAs and athletes such as Ken Griffey, Jr., Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan and Joe Montana.
Prior to Upper Deck, Suzuki was an attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. Suzuki received his J.D. from Boston University and bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duke University.
