Lisa Szalaji is director of business and regulatory law at Retail Business Services LLC, an Ahold Delhaize USA company that provides support services to the company’s U.S. grocery retail brands, including Stop & Shop, Giant Food, Giant/Martin’s, Hannaford, Food Lion, and Peapod.
Ms. Szalaji collaborates with all areas of these businesses, advising on a wide range of legal and business matters involving commercial, technology and procurement contracting, trademark, advertising, marketing and promotion law, supply chain, corporate governance and maintenance, data utilization, client education and compliance, and charitable organization structure and governance.
Before joining Ahold in 2003, Ms. Szalaji served as in-house counsel for Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. and The Gillette Company. She was also previously an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and McDermott Will & Emery in Boston.
Ms. Szalaji is an alumna of Fordham University (B.A.) and The Catholic University of America (J.D.).
