Joseph Tripodi brings more than 30 years of diverse marketing, customer, commercial, and general management experience to The Coca-Cola Company. Leading worldwide marketing and commercial efforts, he stewards Trademark Coca-Cola, the world’s most valuable and recognized brand, along with more than 500 brands and 3,500 products found in more than 200 countries.
Under his leadership, the company was named the Cannes Lions “Creative Marketer of the Year” for 2013, a “Top 15 Most Innovative Companies in the World” winner for 2013 by Fast Company, and “Marketer of the Year” by both Advertising Age and the Mobile Marketing Association. Trademark Coca-Cola was Interbrand’s “Most Valuable Global Brand” for the 13th consecutive year.
Previously, Mr. Tripodi was chief marketing officer for Allstate Insurance Company, where he launched “Your Choice Auto and Home,” the industry’s first product innovation in decades. He served as CMO for The Bank of New York, Seagram Spirits & Wine, and MasterCard International, where he oversaw the “Priceless” advertising campaign.
Mr. Tripodi is a member of the Board of the Ad Council and served as chairman of the Association of National Advertisers. He received his Master of Science in Management from the London School of Economics and his B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Harvard College.
