Meredith Verdone is responsible for all brand strategy, as well as for consumer, affluent, and high-net worth marketing. She leads all paid media strategy, creative development, consumer research, and analytics across the corporation.
During her 20 years of leadership at the company, she has focused on keeping the brand relevant and competitive. Most recently, Ms. Verdone led the 2018 rollout of the bank’s new brand positioning focused on the question, “What would you like the power to do?” The positioning builds on the bank’s approach to responsible growth and advances its purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection.
Under her leadership, the marketing team has earned a number of industry accolades, including awards from the Financial Communications Society and the Advertising Research Foundation, as well as an Effie Award for effective marketing and a prestigious Cannes Lions.
Ms. Verdone is the executive sponsor for Bank of America’s Leadership, Education, Advocacy, and Development for Women Boston Chapter, a member of the bank’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council, and serves on the executive board for the Ad Council and the board of directors for the ANA.
