Joe Volpicelli leads the creative department at Prudential brand marketing and advertising. His team at the fully integrated in-house advertising agency consists of creative directors, art directors, copywriters and designers. In his role, Mr. Volpicelli also heads up the video production team of editors, producers and directors who produce award-winning video content. Since 2017, Joe has led creative efforts on all brand work in collaboration with global advertising agency Droga5, and he leads the marketing campaigns for Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group, Individual Solutions Group and PGIM. Previously, he held creative leadership positions as executive creative director at Deutsch and T3, working on Chase, UPS, Allstate and other large brands. Prior to that, Mr. Volpicelli spent a decade at BBDO, leading effective, integrated marketing and advertising campaigns for Lowe’s, AT&T, NYSE, AIG and others. Joe has a passion for developing young creative talent and has shared his experiences with students at Miami Ad School and other universities. He also takes time to mentor creatives by attending portfolio reviews, giving career advice to up-and-coming talent. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in art and design from Pratt Institute in New York.
