Steve has over 15 years of experience in retention and email marketing. He serves as Email Marketing Strategist for Nautilus, Inc. which owns a family of fitness brands including Bowflex, Schwinn, and Universal. His focus has been on improving segmentation by leveraging engagement, as well as improving lead capture and then nurturing with targeted messages.
Previous to Nautilus, he was KEEN Footwear's Retention Marketing Manager where he doubled the revenue from the email channel in 24 months, while growing the list by 75 percent. He also spent 12 years as Email Marketing Manager at Patagonia where he built an international email marketing program. He served on the environmental grants committees at both KEEN and Patagonia where he gave millions of dollars to grassroots conservation groups. He enjoys hiking, cycling and whitewater rafting with his wife and 2-year-old son... although they stick to mellow rivers when the kiddo's aboard.
