As a Senior Vice President, and leader of MediaLink's contract optimization practice, Melanie brings 16+ years of brand marketing and legal experience and guides Fortune 500 brands that look to enhance operational governance, re-envision agency ecosystems, meet efficiency targets, and adopt next-in-class approaches to global contract design. She has managed every contract that MediaLink has negotiated in the past 18 months, totaling more than $22B in value and was recently named an Ad Age Leading Woman in 2021 for her work in this space.
Prior to joining MediaLink, Melanie worked as a Legal and Corporate Development Consultant – serving as an adjunct to in-house counsel. As a licensed attorney, Melanie guided the legal strategies for global entertainment marketing agencies and lifestyle brands, advising on matters related to company formation and expansion, contract negotiation, campaign development and the subsequent legal implications presented across various workstreams.
Melanie began her career in marketing as VP Marketing at BMF Media, and later, United Entertainment Group. She led a team of practitioners and executed award-winning, revenue-generating B2C initiatives for clients including: Heineken, Nike, Ebay, Bose, ASICS, The North Face, Smuckers and REVOLT TV. She also worked in collaboration with legal affairs; fully-immersed in structuring content, brand partnership, and retainer deals.
