RJ Whittington is the brand manager of The Macallan Scotch Whisky in The Americas region, where he builds and executes long-term brand strategy and programming. This includes developing and managing brand media and communications, social strategy, and experiential and partnerships.
Mr. Whittington has held multiple positions in the spirits industry, most recently at William Grant & Sons as brand manager for Monkey Shoulder Whisky. There, he created the first-ever consumer awareness driving program for Monkey Shoulder in the U.S. with the Monkey Mixer – a cement truck turned mobile cocktail pouring machine. Mr. Whittington also worked in finance and marketing finance at Sherwin Williams before joining the spirts industry.
