Ben Wiseman is the director of the Office of Consumer Protection in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, where he oversees a staff of lawyers, paralegals, mediators, and investigators engaged in consumer protection enforcement and outreach activities.
Previously, Mr. Wiseman served in the Office of Consumer Protection as an assistant attorney general. He also served as a law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and was an associate in the civil ligation practice group at Covington & Burling LLP.
Mr. Wiseman holds a bachelor’s from Brown University and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
