Sheryl Ann Yamuder is senior managing counsel for MasterCard, where she handles privacy and data protection issues, including implementing privacy by design, application of GLBA and CAN-SPAM, and creation of policies and procedures for collecting and utilizing personal information in the financial services industry. She supports business units within MasterCard focusing on digital media and marketing, loyalty and rewards programs, and the development of products and services for online and mobile platforms. Ms. Yamuder previously held senior-level positions providing counsel in the areas of digital media, technology, marketing, and related privacy concerns, including her positions at Spotify Inc. and as vice president and associate general counsel for Publicis Groupe. She also worked in the television and publishing industries for the National Geographic Society. She is a graduate of Cardozo School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from Boston University.
