Recognized as a global strategic retail and brand marketing expert, Doug Zarkin has led the transformation of Pearle Vision’s global strategic marketing, e-commerce, visual merchandising, product promotion, and retail footprint. His work is currently the subject of a Harvard Business School case study on brand rejuvenation.
During the course of his career, Mr. Zarkin has earned an impressive array of honors for his marketing and brand-building work at Pearle Vision and in prior roles at Limited Brands, Avon, and Kellwood, including a Silver Clio Award, El Sol Award, multiple Effie Awards, and WWD’s Best Executed Launch Strategy Award. He was recently named a 2019 Retail Innovator Award Winner and was recognized by The CMO Club as Innovative Marketer of The Year.
Mr. Zarkin frequently lecturers on the subject of brand marketing at many top universities, such as Harvard, NYU, Duke, Xavier, The George Washington University, Miami of Ohio, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
