ANA Website Gets a Fresh Look

October 20, 2015

By Duke Fanelli, CMO at the ANA

Today we are launching our newly designed, and fully responsive website with two primary objectives in mind:

  1. Provide an exceptional, intuitive user experience for our members and site visitors.
  2. Create a visually pleasing site that allows members to quickly and easily identify the content they want and discover new and valuable material that helps them make a difference as a marketer.

The site’s home page addresses the two primary reasons marketers join the ANA and rely on the site: marketing excellence and industry leadership. Advancing our members’ brands through content that drives marketing excellence is core to what we do. It includes our industry conferences, members-only events, webinars, committee meetings, award-winning publications, and training through our School of Marketing. Insights and thought-leading perspectives are captured and available to members through the Marketing Knowledge Center (MKC).

In addition, our expansive involvement in critical industry initiatives and marketer-focused legislative and regulatory issues speaks to ANA’s leadership position. We take a visible and proactive stand on public issues and governmental actions that affect the marketing community’s ability to operate in our free-market society.

We know video has become an increasingly important tool for disseminating great sharable content. With that knowledge, we have added considerably to our video library. You will now find a selection of insightful videos on almost every landing page. In addition, the MKC houses almost 2,000 pieces of both “snackable” and long-form video content.

We hope you find the new website engaging and easy to navigate, as well as useful for bringing you fresh ideas, valuable insights, and opportunities to engage with your peers. Please let us know what you think of the new site and what we can do to enhance your experience.

The new website looks great on Chrome when I access it from home or my phone, but our entire office is on (sad!) IE9 and it does not function or look at all like it should. We can't navigate properly. I've just asked a number of my peers and direct reports to sign up for an account and get involved with ANA as we are a part of a member organization and it not an optimal user experience. I know IE9 is old school, but I have a feeling that we are not the only organization that has to use it as our only browser option while at work. Thank you!

Hi, Lauren... Thank you for the feedback. We are actively looking into the challenges some of our users are experiencing when using Internet Explorer. We hope to have an update out shortly to address these issues.
