About Doug Dome

Doug Dome, Founder & CEO, CORE7, Inc.

Doug has 31 years’ experience as an integrated marketing communications practitioner, entrepreneur, and educator.   His experience in advertising, public relations, digital marketing, social media, direct marketing, experiential marketing, and sales promotion—both as a brand marketer and agency manager—provide a unique perspective on the current state of the marketing industry. Doug has served in a variety of senior level management and creative positions for such agencies as FCB Chicago, Hill & Knowlton, Carmichael Lynch, Gigunda Group, and All Terrain.  He also held senior marketing communications management roles at MCI Telecommunications, Fairmont Hotel and Marshall Field’s.  An award-winning creative, Doug has won over 200 awards, including being named PRNews’ “Agency Professional of the Year” and “Innovator of the Year.”  As an entrepreneur, he founded Dome Communications, which he sold to WPP to form DomeHK.  For the past 11 years, he has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago, Graham School, where he teaches Managing Integrated Marketing Communications. Doug holds a M.M. in Marketing and International Business from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a B.A. in Business Administration and History from Alma College.   Doug’s current project—Core7—is a reimagined marketing platform for modern consumers, marketers, and agencies.
