For the first time in 3 years, CMOs from around the world will come together in-person at the Global CMO Growth Council Summit, October 24 and 25. Just like we did in 2018 and 2019 when we created and adopted the industry Growth Agenda, we will once again come together to "take back our industry.


While we have made substantial progress in the past four years against the industry’s growth priorities, we still tolerate sub-optimal conditions in key areas. There are no good reasons any of these problems continue to exist at our own companies or for our industry, except for our own lack of collective action. And that is the objective of this year’s Summit – to solve for critical issues now collectively.

TUESDAY: October 25

Several cornerstone objectives have been prioritized over the past year by Global Growth Council and are now fully operational with solutions that are available for CMOs to adopt in your organizations. These solutions were further validated in June at Cannes with input from additional industry leaders at key constituencies from agencies, media, tech, academia, and consultancies.

The first session of the morning includes two deep dives to ensure all delegates have the roadmap to accelerate their own adoption of these solutions within their organizations and networks, with specific tangible outcomes for 2023. This will be followed by a special luncheon forum combining the delegates of the Global CMO Growth Council together with the ANA Board of Directors to commit to collective actions for 2023 growth initiatives.

Joint Leadership Forum: ANA Board of Directors together with Global CMO Growth Council:

Global CMO Growth Council delegates and the ANA BOD will meet to unify the industry to:

  • Eliminating waste from over $1trillion dollars in global media investments.
  • Agree on combined role of the Global CMO Growth Council and the ANA Board of Directors to drive desired outcomes.
