THE ONE WEEK PITCH
With some pitches running for weeks (or even months), the idea of going from brief to pitch in 5 days might seem almost hazardous to an experienced marketer. However, there are instances where time is of the essence and what is needed is a strategic and innovative approach for marketing and procurement teams to get to "yes" in record time. We will look at the details of a successful one-week pitch held for a leading CPG company and uncover how marketers can implement a rapid pitch process. Factors for success, temptations to avoid, and when a traditional approach remains best practice will be discussed as well. This session will provide new ideas on the pitch process and lead into our closing session discussion.
