In the United States, 68 percent of U.S. households own a pet, which equates to 82.5 million homes. Total spending in the industry is projected to reach $58.5 billion by the end of 2014. The ASPCA is at the forefront of this significant market leveraging the power of its brand and expertise to raise awareness and support for animals.  This session will explore how the ASPCA has been a Top 125 global licensor for the past 4 years and has also successfully implemented corporate partnerships across a range of consumer categories.

An expectation of customization is just one of the many mindsets driving the attitudes and behaviors of these all-important shoppers. III. ORGANIZING FOR DIGITAL, SOCIAL, AND MOBILE (1:00 – 2:00 p.m.)
In this session, we will ask ANA Brand Management Committee members to share some innovative ways their companies are organizing and staffing their marketing organization structure around digital, social, and mobile.  Some of the areas to be discussed are: in-house agencies, unique models/staffing/SOWs with their AORs, outsourcing, community management, hybrid models, etc.
