I. NIELSEN: ENTERTAINMENT AND THE MULTICULTURAL SUPER CONSUMER (9:45-10:30AM)
Entertainment can be a great influencer, especially among consumers. In an ever-evolving multicultural world the impact is tremendous. In this session, Eddie Yoon – Nielsen and Principal at The Cambridge Group and Chris Fosdick, Principal – The Cambridge Group, will discuss their recently launched study regarding the multicultural super consumer and how entertainment impacts their buying power.

II. GOOGLE USES LANGUAGE TO ENGAGE THE U.S. HISPANIC AUDIENCE (10:30-11:15AM)
Google has focused their efforts over the last four years on Spanish language campaigns and search. During this time, Google has discovered that landing page language has not been as critical as we once thought. More importantly, in this current digital environment where mobile is driving the growth in engagement, mobile optimized pages that are not language agnostic have become more critical. In this session, Francesca Pujals, Strategy & Insights Lead – Google will share how Google engages the Hispanic audience with the use of language.

III. COMCAST STRENGTHENS THEIR BRAND THROUGH INNOVATION (11:15AM-12:15PM)
Comcast is shaping the future at the intersection of media and technology. In this session attendees will learn how Comcast is using innovative technology to improve the entertainment experience for people with visual disabilities. Peter Intermaggio, Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications – Comcast, will also share insights into how this unexpected example of brand storytelling became a social media phenomenon which enhanced the brand's image and reputation.

IV. LUNCH AND MEMBER ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION (12:15-12:45PM)
In this session, Multicultural Marketing and Diversity Committee members will be asked to participate in an open discussion on a variety of topics affecting multicultural marketers. This is a great opportunity to learn from your peers at other companies.

V. NBCUNIVERSAL/TELEMUNDO: HOW THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY SHAPES TRENDS (12:45-1:30PM)
There is no doubt that Los Angeles is one of the most diverse markets in the country and has a lasting influence on the entire nation. In this session, Patricia Buchanan, Director of Business Development – NBCUniversal/Telemundo, will discuss the unique market demographics that make Los Angeles what it is today from on-the-air to the digital landscape to grassroots reach. In addition, she will highlight the key categories driving the market's growth. You will also hear an excerpt from the recently released Telemundo Network commissioned study, America Reimagined, that will help you understand how the Hispanic community is shaping trends in the US.
