Members of both organizations are invited and encouraged to attend both meetings. (The WFA is the World Federation of Advertisers and provides a global perspective.)

If you are a client-side marketer and member of the WFA but not the ANA, please email Greg Wright for registration.

I. WELCOME (11:00 – 11:10am ET)

II. MEMBER ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION: WHAT WE LEARNED IN 2022, AND WHAT LIES AHEAD IN 2023 (11:10 – 11:40am ET)
From the shifting landscape of agency pitches, to heightened sensitives around inventory media, and the overall economic outlook, 2022 presented as many opportunities as it did challenges for procurement and finance professionals. It sets the stage for a new year in which brands must be nimble in their approach while achieving strong internal alignment to move into 2023 with consistency and confidence. The AFM Committee Co-Chairs host a roundtable discussion with members reflecting on the most significant events of 2022, lessons learned, and noteworthy moments to come in 2023.

Engage your fellow committee members in open discussion around evolving issues and current challenges in the advertising financial management space. Come prepared to share! This is your opportunity to ask questions!

Moderators:
Katherine Freeley, Global Head of Media & Digital, Procurement – Novartis and Advertising Financial Management Committee Co-Chair
Sherry Ulsh, Director, Indirect Procurement – The Hershey Company and Advertising Financial Management Committee Co-Chair

In addition, they will present their 10 Commandments of the Effective Media Procurement Professional.
