Learn how Marketing supports Ally’s Financial and Social Inclusion plan and put its commitment to Do It Right into action. The session will discuss how we along with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Big Sean’s Sean Anderson Foundation, launched Moguls in the Making, an entrepreneurial competition that helps foster opportunities for young, up-and-coming entrepreneurs from our nation’s publicly supported historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

The session will discuss what Audio Description is and how P&G is integrating it into its day-to-day work as well as including it in its recent Super Bowl ad.

Erica Hughes
Director of Multicultural Marketing
Ally

Erica Hughes is an award-winning marketing and advertising professional with a breadth of experience working for Fortune 500 companies. With a love of connecting brands with consumers, Erica has managed marketing strategies for iconic brands such as Chick-fil-A, Chevrolet, Reddi-wip and Slim Jim, just to name a few.

Currently, Hughes serves as the Director of Multicultural Marketing at Ally. In her role she is responsible for leading the vision and strategy for multicultural marketing. In addition, Hughes leads the organization’s efforts to increase awareness and consideration among diverse consumers segments.

Before joining Ally, Hughes lead digital & social media strategy at Chick-fil-A. While there, she was a key member in the marketing organization creating a vision for the internal marketing tech-stack. Prior to joining Chick-fil-A, Erica worked at Conagra Brands from 2012-2018. While at Conagra Brands, Erica took on a lead role in transitioning the organization from a traditional marketing company to a forward-thinking digital marketing innovator. In March 2017, Erica’s team at Conagra Brands was recognized by AdExchanger as a Top Ten Programmatic Advertiser.

Erica Hughes is a native of Flint, MI and earned a B.A. in communication from Michigan State University. In addition, she obtained an M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University.


Paul Chick
Director, Advertising Production, Brand Building Integration Communications
The Procter & Gamble Company

Paul has been with P&G for 11 years. He currently manages Advertising Production for North America Fabric Care, Baby Care, Air Care and P&G Corporate initiatives. He also is a mentor and trainer of brand directors on production to increase their capabilities. In addition, he is the North American SPOC for E&I issues related to advertising communication. Paul manages relationships with several Advertising Agencies including WPP and Publicis.

Prior to P&G Paul spent 15 years in various roles in the Agency/Production community. During his time at P&G he has worked on creative that has earned a Grand Prix Cannes Lion, Titanium Cannes Lion, and a Black Pencil.

President

With a big heart and legendary work ethic, Sheri has a passion for service. Her vast knowledge in advertising throughout a 25 year career brings a wealth of first-hand consultation to Advertisers and their partners.  Whether she’s advocating for clients or volunteering with the Foundation Fighting Blindness and Guide Dogs of America, she always gives 100%.

Aaron has built efficiencies as a client advocate for over 18 years.  As SVP of client development, Aaron always brings charm, tenacity, and creativity to his role. He brings this same professional drive to his activism, working with adoption entities like Raise a Child, FosterMore, and The Village Family Services.
