I. WELCOME AND HOUSEKEEPING (11:00 – 11:10am ET)

II. CHALLENGES FACING MARKETER-DRIVEN PRODUCTION: TALENT, CREW & VENDOR PAYMENTS (11:10am – 12:00pm ET)
As marketers take on an increasing number of roles in the creative production ecosystem, they must navigate a complex web of rules and responsibilities determined by numerous government entities, unions and brands. This involves everything from how to properly classify a freelance creative workforce to understanding the functions of an Employer of Record and Common Law Employer. Understanding applicable labor laws and union guidelines can ensure that marketers avoid costly missteps. As marketing assets move through the commercial lifecycle, tracking the use of those performances becomes critical to long-term strategy. President Greg Smith and VP/Marketing & Corporate Communications Mark Egmon from The TEAM Companies will showcase how marketers can leverage their understanding of these areas to best position themselves in the advertising landscape.

Speakers:
Greg Smith, President – The TEAM Companies
Mark Egmon, VP/Marketing & Corporate Communications - The TEAM Companies
