ANA Announces 2012 Multicultural Excellence Award Grand Prize Winners
NEW YORK – November 7, 2012 – The ANA (Association of National Advertisers) announced the winners of the 2012 Multicultural Excellence Awards at its recent Multicultural & Diversity Conference.
Over the past twelve years, the awards have recognized outstanding marketers for their work in producing superior multicultural campaigns. For a campaign to be eligible, it must have been conducted between June 2011 and June 2012.
Winners were named in nine categories. The 2012 grand prize brand and agency winners in each category are as follows:

“We are tremendously pleased with the campaigns submitted for this year’s Multicultural Excellence Awards,” said Bob Liodice, President and CEO of the ANA. “The momentum of multicultural efforts in our industry is increasing, and all marketers can and should learn from the precedent set by these award-winning campaigns.”
The awards are sponsored by the ANA Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Committee, whose mission is to educate and inform members on key topics and issues relevant to today’s multicultural marketers and diversity leaders. A portion of the proceeds collected from the awards’ submission fees will be used to help fund scholarships for high-potential multicultural students who plan to pursue careers in advertising and marketing.
