Promoting the adoption of sustainable business practices

Global Sustainability is a priority issue for the ANA and one emphasized by the CMO Global Growth Council. A recent World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) sustainability survey revealed the following about the marketing function:

  • Just 10 percent of marketers claim to be well advanced in this area.
  • Marketers are looking for ways to innovate but feel there is a lack of literacy within the organization and opportunity to educate themselves and their teams.
  • There is a universal belief that marketing can make the difference in advancing sound sustainability practices.

It is a big landscape to cover and the ANA has taken actions to provide the support and guidance to the marketer community.
