The Role

The ANA is currently seeking an innovative junior-level designer to join the brand marketing and communications team. This person will be responsible for the development and maintenance of marketing collateral in both print and digital formats. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing, fast-moving, and creative marketing team.

As the junior designer, you should possess creative thinking, originality, and a strong visual sense. Equally important is your strict attention to detail, an eye for organization, and strong communication skills. A willingness to learn and develop your skills is paramount.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain corporate and promotional collateral based on ANA brand guidelines
  • Use style sheets to create page layouts and typeset reports, white papers, and monthly newsletters
  • Create and edit data-driven power-point presentations to support survey research
  • Arrange copy and graphics to design postcards, email/web imagery, and flyers that deliver messages and promote events
  • Contribute design ideas to internal brand collateral
  • Coordinate with other marketing staff to ensure quality communications

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field
  • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience
  • Examples of design work or link to a portfolio
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) on the Mac platform
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Strong understanding of typography and page layout
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Organized, efficient, and able to manage time for multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Productive member in a team-focused environment
  • Maintain a positive attitude in high-stress situations
  • A positive, upbeat, can-do attitude
