Marketing Coordinator

This position will be responsible for coordination of projects including use of the flo system.  Must be able to work with people at a variety of levels and understand the collateral production process along with basic marketing principals.

 

Skills and Ability
  • Familiar with branding, marketing and communications concepts, practices and procedures including campaign development, printing, messaging and brand continuity.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to proofread and edit.
  • Must be computer literate including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Familiarity with Visio a plus.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to readily adapt to new and diverse situations.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Demonstrate follow through and meet deadlines.
  • Good personal organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize and use time effectively.
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments in a consultative manner as well as with all levels of management.
  • Detail oriented a must.

 

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communications with a minimum of 2-5 years of previous marketing experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred – English/Spanish.
  • Health Care background preferred.

 

Essential Job Functions of Job Description
  •  Work with Manager to coordinate the writing, design and production of member facing marketing and communications.
  • Aid with the coordination and research of regulatory work, member directories, and P&P’s (including uploading to Centene platform). 
  • Maintain and coordinate collateral and promotional product inventory with the vendors and business partners while remaining within budgets
  • Campaign and Women’s event planning support as assigned (ie coordinating collateral etc.)
  • Maintain project and budget logs.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
