Global Sourcing and Contracts Manager- Creative and Media

Facebook is currently searching for a seasoned professional to work in Finance to be part of the Marketing Sourcing team. This person will work closely with multiple business groups driving strategic sourcing strategies and executing contracts for creative and media services that support the business to ensure the best options for Facebook are obtained.

GLOBAL SOURCING AND CONTRACTS MANAGER - CREATIVE AND MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop sourcing strategies, negotiate and manage execution of creative and media agency contracts and Ad Tech contracts in partnership with Global Sourcing Category Manager(s).
  • Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and category management practices.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to strategically manage spend and agency relationships.
  • Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals.
  • Manage complex sourcing projects and lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.
  • Establish procurement performance targets and ensure alignment with the sourcing plans.
  • Act as procurement subject matter expert in consulting with the business on procurement strategies, processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, and Legal teams.
  • Maintains accurate and complete contract records, working with various business groups to simplify process. Seeks to leverage best in class agreements, processes, and negotiation techniques.
  • Lead adoption of e-Sourcing and other innovative tools when applicable.
  • Act as procurement subject matter expert in consulting with the business to identify, develop and deploy best practice procurement, category management and supplier management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.S. degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or related industry experience.
  • Demonstrated global experience sourcing creative and media.
  • Understanding of global holding company and independent agency structure.
  • Experience partnering with a team of channel, retail, e-commerce, marketing, sales, and product development teams to develop and build alignment around long- and short-term vendor strategies.
  • Proven track record of implementing strategic sourcing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management.
  • Experience working global contract documents through execution ensuring risks are mitigated and high value is procured.
