Position:

Global Agency Management and Marketing Education Leader– this key global management role reports into the global lead of marketing operations who reports directly to the CMO and works across our global, regional, and country marketing teams and with our key agency partners.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Agency strategy and management- key global role working with marketing leadership for strategic direction and then implementing the agency strategy and model, driving best practices, researching and executing new agency models and RFP’s (partnering with procurement and marketing), agency governance, issue resolution, and onboarding of key lead agencies.  The role requires strong understanding of agency management practices and requires cross collaboration working closely with agencies, procurement, plus global, region, and country marketing teams. 

 

  • HP marketing training – global program lead to provide key marketing training to our global marketing organization based on an aligned set of core capabilities.  Role requires broad understanding of end to end marketing, the ability to program manage the entire project, drive curation, production, publishing, communication, and measurement of marketing training content program.

 

  • Marketing Taskforce planning – drive the overall planning and execution of two global marketing planning sessions based on the direction of the CMO with the top 10 percent of marketers attending from around the world.  Goal is to drive pan-HP marketing strategic direction and encourage collaboration and best practice sharing.

 

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree or equivalent
  • 15-20 years of relevant experience, including experience driving end to end marketing campaigns, experience working across a broad set of agencies, marketing teams, and other key teams like procurement and finance.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Proven track record of project/program leadership including leading global, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization
  • Deep understanding of how marketing teams operate with agencies and understanding of agency ecosystems.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and agencies.  The important soft skills of building relationships, listening, and ability to drive operational excellence and processes.
  • Strong analytical thinking, analysis, problem solving skills, process orientation, and business acumen skills
  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to work within a fluid, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to pull together external, and internal Executive level presentations
  • Highly developed collaboration, relationship building, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with/influence across all levels and functions within the organization to achieve actionable results through others
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and quality of deliverables; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities (both long and short term) simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills, and group facilitation.   
  • Ability to communicate complex or abstract ideas clearly and succinctly.
