In support of this mission, Marketing is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo’s business lines and geographies; leading brand strategy; leveraging deep insights and analytics about consumers and businesses; executing customer messaging across all channels and touchpoints; and building out capabilities that move toward real-time, always-on, personalized and compelling messaging and digital experiences.

Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally, with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Its business lines include Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital and other business units.

The CIB Marketing Strategy Leader role is characterized by broad management responsibilities including a range of strategic marketing functions. Key performance measures include driving industry-leading marketing initiatives to improve competitive position, penetration of target segments, revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and retention. Work is accomplished through senior marketing managers and other senior leaders on a daily basis.

As the CIB Marketing Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for:
  • Strategically managing the marketing of Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Commercial Real Estate marketing campaigns, programs, events, and sales enablement strategies. Developing go-to-market strategies to support priority segments, verticals, and geographies.
  • Providing end-to-end marketing support for all client-facing teams -- developing materials to support customer cultivation and development efforts. Where relevant, develop segment-based marketing strategies to reach priority audiences.
  • Developing marketing outcomes/metrics to measure and monitor program outcomes in alignment with business objectives. Show demonstrated business outcomes and brand value
  • Bringing a customer-first mindset to all work -- being proactive in the development of new insights and brand differentiation. Understanding customer insights, marketplace dynamics, and competitive activity.
  • Bringing strong channel and digital expertise as aligned to customer journey insights to see the end-to-end marketing opportunities.
  • Partnering across marketing teams including content, cross wholesale, research and creative teams to ensure high-quality effective marketing efforts.
As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically, you will:
  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of marketing experience
  • 6+ years of management experience
  • 5 + years of digital marketing experience
Desired Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
  • Ability to provide leadership to a matrixed organization environment
  • A Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with complex, diverse and market-based businesses including multiple product lines and distribution channels.
  • Deep knowledge of B2B businesses.
  • Financial Services marketing experience or other regulated industry.
  • Experience in developing integrated campaigns and sales support materials.
  • Experience managing scalable lead gen programs to activate pipeline.
Job Expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
