As the Brand Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications.  This role leads a portfolio of brands under Turning Stone Resort Casino and Oneida Nation Enterprises.  Working under the leadership of the Director of Enterprise Marketing, the Brand Manager collaborates across the organization, leading agencies and teams to execute marketing campaigns that support business goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Director of Enterprise Marketing, develop and execute marketing strategies for new and existing brands to grow target market share, increase sales revenue, attract new guests, increase guest retention, and enhance upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Plan and manage advertising and media executions on all paid and owned channels including but not limited to mainstream, digital and social streams.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of marketing professionals to execute campaign tactics including promotional programs, digital communications, CRM and sales support.
  • Actively oversee marketing campaign management over the guest lifecycle from inception, to launch, to evaluation of results and future opportunity ideation.  Serve as the point person on all governance of brand marketing priorities including on-property owned assets, website assets, email content priorities, entertainment needs, partnership communications, corporate initiatives and general communication and marketing hierarchy within brand portfolios for Turning Stone Resort Casino and/or Oneida Nation Enterprises as assigned.
  • Assist with product development, pricing and new product launches.
  • Monitor and evaluate guest research, market conditions and competitor data, and implement plan alterations based on such market intelligence.
  • Manage assigned brands’ online presence, including capitalizing upon ecommerce opportunities with business partners.
  • Manage marketing costs and budgets as assigned for respective Resort and Enterprise business units.
  • Craft and deliver campaign and promotional analyses, along with opportunistic recommendations, to marketing leadership. 

 

Job Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field. 
  • Minimum five years of working experience in advertising, brand strategy, marketing, project management or related field, preferably in the hospitality industry, and including various product lines, a high volume of sales and budgeted marketing dollars.
  • Preferably 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license as required for Oneida Nation Enterprises.
  • Excellent communication skills, project management efficacy– highly organized, results oriented, and able to take initiative and lead projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team; ability to manage multiple projects and staff, including freelancers and vendors.
  • General computer application proficiency (spreadsheets, word processing).
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
