Job Description:

Working at the crossroads of marketing inspiration and analytical insight, the Data Management Platform (DMP) Agile Marketing Analyst plays a pivotal role in U.S. Bank’s digital transformation. The Agile Marketing Analyst is responsible for defining multi-channel marketing strategies and DMP-enabled campaign tactics in consultation with internal clients. This individual leads audience targeting, execution, and optimization across campaigns and business lines and coordinates with our media team and media agency to assure that segment strategies and policies align with digital best practices. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who has strong experience in media planning and has worked hands-on in a DMP platform. The applicant is adept at client communication, education, and collaboration, aspires to Jedi-level expertise when it comes to data-driven marketing, understands essential media and marketing technologies (DMP, DSP, NBA, etc.), has a lively sense of curiosity about new capabilities, and prefers to work on Agile teams. Most of all, the Agile Marketing Analyst is expected to balance between collaboration and a laser-like focus on results, helping U.S. Bank evolve from fragmented user interactions in single channels to seamless customer engagement anytime, anywhere, on any device.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience (prefer Business, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing or other similar discipline).

- 6 or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience

- 3+ years of experience in digital ad campaign planning and execution with frontline knowledge of DSP/DMP operations required; experience with Adobe Audience Manager desired.

- Experience managing paid media (search, display, social, video) campaigns from start to finish required.

- Experience managing or playing a key role in large-scale marketing campaigns that combine paid and owned channels a plus.

-  Experience working on Agile marketing teams preferred.

- Understanding of and experience with DSPs, DMPs, 3rd-party data, pixels, and ad servers.

- Clear understanding of how media channels work together to create a cohesive, personalized marketing experience.

- Familiarity with customer acquisition goals and optimizing to CPA, CTR, Completion Rate, etc.

- Good working knowledge of common data models used for customer targeting and marketing measurement such as Lookalike Modeling, propensity and relationship value predictions, device matching, Multi-Touch Attribution, Last-Touch Attribution, etc.

- Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking.

- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and drive to exceed expectations.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions
