Yamaha is looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager for our piano team. This is a new role on a growing marketing team that is responsible for developing insight-driven, multi-platform consumer marketing strategies and campaigns for the world’s leading piano brand. This position will report to the Director of Marketing.


Here's What You’ll Do:
  • Craft brand and product communication strategies that strengthen and grow the Yamaha piano business
  • Guide development, production and implementation of multi-platform marketing campaigns covering digital, social, print, retail, event, broadcast, dealer, PR, etc.
  • Develop compelling consumer insights and consumer decision journeys that inspire and guide effective marketing campaigns
  • Direct in-house advertising agency, digital and social media teams and related outside agencies to create best-in-class campaigns and executions
  • Collaborate with National Sales Team, Institutional Sales Group and Yamaha Artist Services teams to lead brand recognition, promotion and lead generation strategies and programs
  • Lead and train a team of 4-5 marketing professionals
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in brand/marketing management in client and/or agency roles
  • 5 years of experience managing a team
  • Digital and social marketing expertise and familiarity with associated analytics
  • National integrated marketing campaign management experience
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with creative resources / ad agencies
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis and writing skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and MS Office proficiency
  • A keen interest in music will be appreciated! (Piano ability NOT required)
